8ft Trampoline with Enclosure- Price Watch

Strangely, in the 8ft trampoline with enclosure size bracket there isn’t a whole lot of difference in the price of the different makes and models and an extra £30 here and there can actually buy you a trampoline of much better quality. Unfortunately, these days a lot of people just don’t have an extra £30 to spare and that’s why we have provided you with the absolute cheapest 8ft trampoline with enclosure (with free delivery!) available, just click the link at the top. For a little extra money you can buy a really top quality bouncer with loads of added extras like a ladder, weather cover and shoe holder. The seller even claims the whole package is worth £329.99, I think that claim is a bit dubious, but it is still a really great deal (click HERE for more information).

Why an 8ft Trampoline with Enclosure?

An 8ft trampoline with enclosure is really the smallest size of trampoline ‘proper’ trampoline. A 6ft trampoline with enclosure is really only meant for small children playing on there own and they are useful if you want to house a trampoline indoors. An 8ft trampoline with enclosure is just about big enough for two people to play at the same time (although I’m not sure the manufacturers would recommend it). It is also big enough for the adults to have a go! If you have the room, you may want to consider a 10ft trampoline with enclosure, which are much more fun for multiple people to play on and yet only slightly more expensive than the latter model we will discuss here. Nevertheless, 8ft is the most popular size bracket of trampoline.

Best 8ft Trampoline With Enclosure- Main Features

  • Money-back guarantee
  • 1-year guarantee on all parts
  • 5-year guarantee on the frame
  • Weather and UV resistant safety pads
  • Soft polypropylene enclosure net
  • Frame and springs zinc coated
  • Free ladder
  • Free weather-proof cover
  • Free shoe holder
  • Maximum weight of users- 100kg

One of the major and most important differences we can see here is the guarantees that the manufacturer of the latter model gives over the quality and durability of the model. These are unfortunately lacking in the first model we looked at, which raises cover 8ft trampoline with enclosurequestions over the trampolines life span. Despite this, the first model comes with a galvanised steel frame and a free weather-proof coat (see the picture) that will both undoubtedly help to extend the life of the product. The latter model comes with all the free extras I discussed earlier that really make it great value for money. It also comes with zinc coated springs, unlike the other model. Again the quality of this model is portrayed through the UV and weather-resistant safety pads along with the soft polypropylene safety net (some can be really rough!). Interestingly, the cheaper model has a much higher maximum user weight of 150kg as opposed to the 100kg of the model I have been raving about! We believe that this discrepancy is purely due to the more safety-conscious approach of the second manufacturer, as we can see no reason why the cheaper model could take more weight.

8ft Trampoline with Enclosure- Important Difference in Design

close up 8ft trampoline with enclosureHere I just wanted to highlight the small, but key difference in the design of the two trampolines. The picture to the right is of the cheaper of the two trampolines; see how the safety enclosure wraps around the outside? Well this is a dangerous cost-cutting design fault because when a child fall against the enclosure, they will follow against the enclosure and fall directly on to the frame. Crazy. Compare this with the design of our favourite 8ft trampoline with enclosure, where the enclosure runs between the springs and mat, separating the child 8ft trampoline with enclosure and ladderfrom the hard frame.

8ft Trampoline With Enclosure- Conclusions

I guess what I’ve been trying (and struggling) to say throughout this review is that if you can spare the extra money, you’ll buy an infinitely better trampoline that will last a whole lot longer. Scroll back to the top and click the link of the trampoline you’d like to hear more about!
